Spend Later Privacy Policy

Welcome to Spend Later, the iOS app that helps you quantify money you don't spend. This Privacy Policy explains how Punk Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our app.

We believe in transparency and giving you control over your data. This policy is written in plain English, not legal jargon.

Financial Data:

• Transaction amounts and categories you manually enter
• Savings goals and targets you set
• Spending patterns and trends you track

App Usage Data:

• How often you use the app
• Features you interact with most
• Crash reports and performance data (anonymized)

Device Information:

• iOS version and device model (for compatibility)
• App version (for updates and support)

Subscription Data:

When you purchase a subscription:

• Apple processes payment information (not collected by us)
• We receive: subscription status, product ID, purchase date, expiration date
• Transaction receipts from Apple (encrypted, verified through Apple's servers)
• No credit card or payment details are stored by us

In-App Purchase Information:

• All subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store

• Your Apple ID is used to manage subscriptions

We want to be crystal clear about what we don't access:

Subscription Data Usage:

Local Storage: Your financial data is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms.

Cloud Backup: If you enable iCloud backup, your data follows Apple's privacy and security standards.

Subscription records are retained:

• Active subscriptions: Duration of subscription plus 1 year
• Cancelled subscriptions: Up to 7 years for financial/legal compliance

• Delete Data: You can delete all your data anytime through the app settings
• Export Data: Export your data in a readable format

We use minimal third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: For optional data backup (if you enable it)

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You will be charged 24 hours before renewal
• Manage or cancel in Apple ID Account Settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial periods (except where required by law)

Subscription pricing and currency:

• Prices vary by region and are set in your local App Store currency
• Currency conversion handled by Apple
• Different privacy regulations may apply based on your location (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

For GDPR compliance: Subscription data is necessary for contract performance. For CCPA compliance: Subscription data is not "sold" to third parties.

Spend Later is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do:
